SUMMER HARVEST

What herbs are flourishing in your corner of the world right now? These days I am wildcrafting St. John’s wort and gingko, tincturing California poppy and skullcap and drying anise hyssop, calendula and other wonderful medicinals. It’s a fine time to be thinking about tea blends and healing salves we can create come fall. Cold infusions are wonderful, easy teas for warm summer days. I like to put freshly harvested tulsi in a quart jar, cover it with water and leave in the refrigerator overnight. You can drink it the next day and cover with fresh water again. The herbal goodness will continue! Here are a few plants I’m basking in with a smile!

Chamomile
Borage
Anise hyssop
Arnica
Calendula
Japanese motherwort

Happy Harvesting! New products will be coming this fall!
